This project focuses on designing more advanced interactions that connect physical input with digital output. For my interactive canvas, I am beginning to explore how sensors and visual systems can influence responsive LED behaviour.

Looking at Camera interaection in touchdesigner

through these images I was looking at using the webcam with touchdesigner. Putting the camera reader in and then having it go to greyscale to have the camera catch actions better <a href='https://www.youtube.com/embed/tgbNymZ7vqY' target='_blank'><p>Project Video Link</p></a> through these images I was looking at using the webcam with touchdesigner, Relized I had put the wring math into my sequince so I needed to go back and make sure it was the correct one in order fot it to work properly.<div class='container'><iframe class='responsive-iframe' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/tgbNymZ7vqY'></iframe></div> through these images I was looking at using the webcam with touchdesigner, Looking at some different colour vartions i could use as default that could show that im thinking through these images I was looking at using the webcam with touchdesigner, Changing settings on the resoloution so that the led board will properly show images and so touch design knows the area it is working in Here is timeline I was using in touch design kept it simple for now since im not sure if it will work with the led board

Activity 2: My Research

Connecting and LED Matrix power test

First i tried connecting the led board to an Arduino uno wifi R4 but there were not enough spots for the conneing wires to attach to the ardunio Although the arduino would turn on it would not read what it was connected to unfortunately I purchesed my own ADAFRUIT MATRIX PORTAL - CIRCUIT so that I could connect the LED board to my computer and have thr mstrix portal talk to the board Figured out I needed an Pitch 16 Pin Straight Box Header since i had two male ends to my connecting and the matrix portal for the mean time I am using wires it is currently in transit. The ADAFRUIT MATRIX PORTA is working as we can see as I turned it on and the lights are working The light board first working moment

Project 2 Prototype

I have the LED matrix working. It is very flashy so I am working on just having the colours stay still. My next step is to work on getting the colours to stay on the board and figuring out my interaction with Touchdesigner and how the camera will be used.

Led Matrix plugged into power source (wall) and connected to the adafruit matrix portal with no code yet
